Below are excerpts from President Abraham Lincoln's
First Inaugural Speech.  Lincoln's Speech may be
found in most public libraries.
Abraham Lincoln's
endorsement of guaranteed
permanent slavery.
Note that Abraham Lincoln
does NOT mention slavery
at all as a reason to invade
the Southern States.

The only properties
belonging to the federal
government that Lincoln
says he would invade to
occupy were two TAX
COLLECTION FORTS
:
Fort Sumpter at the
entrance to Charleston
Harbor in South Carolina
and Fort Pickens at the
entrance to Pensacola Bay
in Florida.

Therefore, Lincoln's own
words prove that the only
reason for his invading the
Confederate States was to
collect his 40% import tax
on Southerners.
